Buffalo State University offers a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation approved Wastewater Treatment Training Program conveniently located in Buffalo, NY. This consolidated, in-person training will occur on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Buffalo State campus.

Spring Courses Offered:

Basic Operations of Wastewater Treatment Plants (March 6 – March 17, 2023). Cost is $975. Required Text: Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant, Vol I (purchase here) & Vol II, 8th ed. (purchase here)                                                                                                  Recommended Text: Advanced Waste Treatment by Kenneth D. Kerri (purchase here)

Basic Laboratory Procedures (March 27 – March 31, 2023). Cost is $575.                                          There are no recommended texts for this course.

Activated Sludge Wastewater Treatment Process (April 10 – April 13, 2023). the cost is $525. Required Text: Activated Sludge by Tim Hobson (purchase here)
