PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This powerful series of pedagogy/curriculum ideas will invigorate you and offer you new ways to think about formative and summative assessment as guiding tool to the implementation of NGSS and AP Biology frameworks. It will offer you a plethora of new ideas from cutting edge science institutes and national science education leaders.
Local participants will be offered the chance to stay on campus with out of town participants in order to form long-lasting relationships and networking. Participants will work in the new Mathematics and Science Complex on Buffalo State College each day from 8-5. Social functions are included.

This workshop is based on the NABT / BSCS AP Biology Teachers Academy presented in partnership with HHMI BioInteractive. The workshop is available to all biology teachers and registration is not limited to those teaching AP courses.
